Do credit card companies track exactly what you are purchasing? Do they have specific details about what you purchase versus a general total and where something is purchased.For example when you use a credit card at the grocery do they know exactly what you purchase? I am not doing anything shady. I noticed recently on my online statement there were different codes for groceries versus a pharmacy purchase. It made me wonder how much they monitor what is actually being purchased! Thanks for any answers on this!
