You already took advantage of the Identity Theft Protection service.
Hopefully it was a reputable company.
You should contact Experian, or one of the other 2 credit referral agencies. They will put a security hold on your credit information.
There is no fee for this service. There will be no breaches allowed then. No one will be getting credit in your name with their reference.
I wouldn’t bother with an attorney at this point. Too soon, no misuse to your credit.
